Editing service

I have over ten years’ professional experience in copyediting and proofreading, most notably with the internationally recognised Irish Historic Towns Atlas series (a Royal Irish Academy research project). I specialise in history, historical geography and literary history.

Transcription service

I get a real kick out of deciphering and making sense of handwritten documents, especially those dating from around 1700 onwards. In 2019, I published a critical edition of the diaries of John (Fiott) Lee FRS – hundreds of pages of 200-year-old pencil scrawl. I take pride (and great satisfaction!) in providing a transcription service for researchers.
